Toby Moorcroft Rights is a London based management service which explores the possibilities and handles the dramatic rights in a select slate of existing and up-coming works (mainly literary fiction) for film, television, theatre and other media.
With thirty years of experience across the entertainment industry, I am proud of the relationships I maintain and the record of identifying and placing projects with producers in the UK, USA and Europe.
Independent and subjective, I am also in the unique position of being able to approach creatives (e.g. directors or adapters) via their agents on specific projects and together fine-tuning proposals prior to any producer uptake, without any perceived conflict of interest.
I am not affiliated to any single company or corporation, preferring to operate on a project by project basis in close collaboration with - and on behalf of - the principal literary agents or managers of the the authors' works. As such, I am engaged by them and am not a literary or dramatists' agent myself so therefore unable to accept unsolicited material.
I occasionally offer a consultancy service to producers in helping to obtain licences for copyrighted works.
